BOOKING A CELEBRANT
The ceremony is the one part of the day you cannot re-shoot
Venues get booked, photographers get booked, and the celebrant is often left until last. By then the good dates are gone, and the legal paperwork is a stack of forms nobody explained.
Winter is when the 2026 and 2027 calendars are still open. It is also the only window where these two packages sit below their standard price.

A celebrant who has done this two thousand times, and still writes every ceremony from scratch
Robert is a Gold Coast based marriage celebrant and MC with over 19 years experience, working across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and beyond. Beachfront weddings, intimate elopements, vow renewals and family milestones.
Every script is written for the two people standing in front of him. He handles the paperwork, the sound system, the lodgement and the certificate, so the day itself is calm

My role as your MC is to bring continuous flow and energy to your reception
Set the mood for the evening prior to the arrival of the Bride, Groom, and Bridal Party to reception
House rules
Liaise with venue wedding coordinator prior to your wedding day
Liaise with DJ / musician prior to your wedding day
Follow venue prepared timeline to ensure everything runs to plan
Prepare a script of the evening events/introductions for your approval
Guest interaction on the night
Stress free for you and your guests
I depart after all formalities ie... generally after first dance
50% of the fee secures your wedding day booking
Extras: rehearsal at your venue $300 (subject to availability).
A travel fee applies if your location is more than 1 hour from Robert's home.

A face to face or facetime chat about your day, your package, and how the ceremony will run.

Pay 50% and relax
Half the fee secures your date at the winter price. Robert takes the paperwork from there.
Questions couples ask
Does the winter price hold if we marry in 2027?
Yes. The offer applies to both 2026 and 2027 wedding dates, as long as the booking is secured by 31st August. Standard fees rise $100 per year in line with industry costs, so a 2027 booking made now avoids that increase too.
What does it take to hold our date?
50% of the package fee. The balance is due closer to the day.
How far will Robert travel?
Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and beyond, and he is available world-wide. Travel to and from your location is included; a travel fee applies if you are more than 1 hour from his home.
We only want the legal side, or an elopement. Is that covered?
Those are separate packages — Legals Only, Love Without Legals, Elopements and MC only. They sit outside the winter offer, but mention what you need in the form and Robert will send the current pricing.
Do we need a rehearsal?
Not required, but available at your venue for $300 depending on availability. Many couples find it settles the nerves.
